Ceferino as a model for aspirants and prenovices E-mail
Philippines - Formation
Sunday, 28 August 2011 15:10
Throughout the day a 'sacrifice corner' was provided, with the intention of encouraging the aspirants and prenovices to offer sacrifices for special intentions and also accomplish some good acts in imitation of Bl. Namuncurá.

A short video was produced by Don Bosco prenovitiate with the help of Br Jerome from the postnovitiate (we are merely separated by buildings). Br. Donnie, the script writer, intended the video to be introductory material for the special prayer organized by the aspirants in the evening. It gives a brief background of the life of Blessed Namancura.

By Br. Donnie Duchin Duya, sdb, narrator: aspirant Angelo Gabriel Badillo, video editor: Br. Jerome Quinto, sdb. The link to the video is now available in the  video section of sdb.org.

'It's more comfortable for people to think of abortion as a political decision, or a right. But I am not a right. I am a human being. I am the reality. Gently I put the question, if abortion is about women's rights, then where were mine? There was no radical feminist screaming for my rights on that day.'
