Father Andrew Wong, East Asia-Oceania Regional Councillor, with the Don Bosco of the Fire in Sihanoukville, Cambodia

Fr. Andrew Wong (b. November 30, 1952 in the Philippines) is the current East Asia-Oceania Regional Councillor of the Salesians of Don Bosco. He is in the position since March 2008.

Father Wong was ordained Catholic Salesian priest on December 7, 1979. He was rector (1990-1998), director of Salesian novices (1987-1998), Provincial Councillor for the North Philippines Province (1988-1994), Provincial for Indonesia-East Timor Province where he endured the difficult years of the war during the East Timor independence and, finally, he was provincial for his original place, North Philippines Province (2005-2004).

On March 28, 2008, Fr. Wong was elected as Regional Councillor for East Asia-Oceania, replacing Fr. Klement Vaclav, who was appointed Councillor for the Missions.
