The Salesian Bulletin is considered the official publication of the Salesian Order of Don Bosco as it was established in 1877 by the Annual Conference of St. Francis de Sales, where it is evident that the Bulletin has to see also with the development of the Salesian Cooperators of Don Bosco:
'The second undertaking we wanted to start was the Association of Salesian Cooperators (...) Hand in hand with this project, we have decided to publish a bulletin which will pretty much become the Congregation's official publication and include many things we'll need to make known to our cooperators. It will come out regularly and will link Salesians and cooperators.' [1]
